5/23/04 - I am finally getting the Edzell reunion info posted (sorry for the delay - I have been preoccupied with a new job). You can read the information and register here...

5/8/04 - The Edzell "Brat" reunion is on again and scheduled for August 14 in Newport, WA. I will be posting further information this weekend so check back for details!

12/19/03 - An article was recently published in the Brechin Advertiser by Colin Hutchison about the base and this website. You can view the article online here.

8/21/03 - I received this email : "I am currently selling my property at the former RAF Edzell base. I was wondering if any of the former US personel would be interested in this property. Details can be found on the estate agents website -ACandCo.com  or I can be contacted by e mail on littlejohnalan@aol.com". Contact Alan Littlejohn if you're interested.

6/24/03 - Due to personal circumstances, the Edzell brat reunion is postponed until summer 2004.

1/7/03 - With so many Edzellite "brats" coming out of the wood work, it's time for a reunion! The "grown ups" have had theirs (I still think of us as kids) now it's time for us to have ours. It is scheduled for the weekend of August 9th, 2003. I have some vague plans in the works (bar-b-que on Saturday, swimming at the Mud Hole on Sunday)but not details yet. I will be posting motels/hotels in the area on the Remembering Edzell website soon so please check in on this page for further info. I am still amazed that we have found eachother again and I can't wait to see all your faces. Let's create some NEW memories!!

12/26/02 - Pictures from Carolyn McIntire have been added to the Guest Gallery.

12/17/02 - New pictures added from Gale Springer Smith and Donna McIntire in the Guest Gallery.

12/5/02 - Lee Yarger's picture and brief bio have been added to the Friends Found page.

11/3/02 - More reunion pictures have been added and still more to come.

11/1/02 - I received an announcement this morning from Grandma Sue Kissner that Dylan James Kissner, son of Jerry and Colleen arrived at approximately 7 p.m Dallas time on October 31st and weighed in at 6 lb. 9 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. Congratulations Jerry and Colleen!!!

10/23/02 - Congratulations to Scott Blodgett who just recently married  his sweetheart Jen from Abroath on October 11. They are currently residing in downtown Los Angeles but plan to settle in Long Beach next year. Here is a picture of the happy couple. Scott and Jen - may your years together be filled with many blessings!

10/14/02 - Many changes to the site have been made including a new look and new features. One of the new features is "Share Your Memories" which was inspired by my own desire to share what I remember about Edzell. So often when I'm looking at pictures or reading old diaries from that time, I wonder if anyone else remembers what I do. These memories are so precious to me and I thought this page would be a way for us all to record and share them. Another feature, "Search for a Friend" is a page that will be specifically for tracking down more Edzellites (and friends of Edzellites) in hopes that eventually we will all be reunited again (via the internet).  I am excited about the changes (which are long over due) and look forward to getting your feedback. Please contact me and let me know what you think! As always - thanks for visiting "Remembering Edzell".
